1. Federation Square
Federation Square is situated in the heart of the city and is home to galleries, tourism experiences, public events, and much more.
2. Fitzroy Gardens
Relax in this green oasis in the middle of the city. Fitzroy Gardens consist of a cute miniature Tudor Village, a whimsical Fairies Tree, and the historical Cooks’ Cottage.
3. Werribee Open Range Zoo
Go on an adventure through the African themed Werribee Open Range Zoo. Admission includes a cool safari ride! Animal encounters include giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and more.
4. Hosier Lane
Hosier Lane is the city’s most popular graffiti lane showcasing street art. Come snap some cool photographs!
5. Queen Victoria Market
The iconic Queen Victoria Market is a large open air market lined with fresh produce, food stalls, and souvenir vendors. Meander the aisles for some cheap deals!
6. Mornington Peninsula Winery Tour
The Mornington Peninsula region comprises of many notable wineries. Swing by a few for a tasting or two!

10. Great Ocean Road
Great Ocean Road starts approximately a 90-minute drive from Melbourne. It’s one of the most scenic drives in the world and rewards you with breathtaking coastal views. Some major attractions include the majestic Twelve Apostles, Great Otway National Park, and the remarkable Loch Ard Gorge.

As far as where my favorite spot was, I’m torn between Phillip Island and Great Ocean Road. They were both equally as amazing!
