Vancouver is a vibrant port city immersed in nature. The great outdoors is easily accessible anywhere from within the city limits. Some highlights include its surrounding mountains, wonderful parks, and scenic waterfront path. If you’re considering a trip to Canada here are 10 photos to inspire you to visit Vancouver.
I spent almost a week in Vancouver and had a fantastic time there. I was awestruck by all the beautiful scenery around the city.
Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures or urban experiences there’s something for everyone in Vancouver. Take a stroll in Stanley Park and admire the elaborate totem poles. Walk the seawall for spectacular views of the city skyline. Ride the Skyride up to Grouse Mountain and enjoy a number of fun activities. If you’re feeling adventurous cross the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge. There’s a ton to see and do so you’ll have plenty of options to fill your itinerary with.
Vancouver is also a haven for foodies with coastal and multicultural flavors. Some must-eat foods include fresh seafood, delicious fish and chips, Japadog (a local favorite), and savory dim sum. Whatever you do make sure you drop by Richmond Night Market and eat to your heart’s content. It’s the largest night market in North America.
Vancouver is one of my top favorite destinations in the world. I could even see myself living there for a while at some point. It has all the conveniences of a city and nature is never far away.
